At 4:30 this afternoon Dan Sanders and I located the Golden-winged
Warbler reported yesterday from Highbanks Metro Park in Columbus. It
was at the very same spot. Take the pet trail. The bird was seen
right at the corner where the pet trail makes a sharp turn to the
left. It was keeping company with a Blue-winged Warbler as reported
yesterday. A mated pair? They kind of acted that way! We also heard
an Ovenbird.

We also traveled to Big Island again today to see what old/new
shorebirds might be around. We did not find either a Willet or
American Golden-plovers as we had hoped. We arrived shortly before
noon. We talked to several people who had talked to others who had
seen the Ruff again this morning. I don't know any particulars of the
sightings today. I just know that from noon until about 3:00 it was
not seen.

Good Birding!
