Went back to Elroy this morning. No Wilson's Phalarope. Only lesser and greater yellowlegs, 2 least sandpipers, pectoral sandpipers and 1 spotted. Many pipits.

At Woods Road wetland, I found an EARED GREBE! Yes, and I believe the first ever recorded for Darke County. I did take pictures, but haven't looked at them yet. It was pretty far away.

This afternoon some of the Darke County Birders went back to look for the grebe and didn't find it. Instead there was a Great Egret.

ALso had at Coppes Preserve on Young Road west of Ansonia:
woodthrush
white throated sparrows
palm warbler
