Hello Everyone,
Today Linda Benner, Lori Patterson and I spent the day birding in Shawnee.  This is my favorite place to bird!  The birding was spectacular, the wildflowers were great, and the peacefullness of the area was refreshing.  Some of the highlights were:

22 warblers including: Hooded, Kentucky, Lousiana Waterthrush, Cerulean, Worm-eating, Prairie, Chat, Redstart, Common Yellowthroat, Yellow-throated, Tennessee, Nashville, Cape May, Black&White, Yellow-rumped, Black-throated Green, Pine, Chestnut-Sided, Ovenbird, Blue-winged, Yellow

Others included: Grouse, Turkey, Great-crested Flycatcher, YB Cuckoo, Scarlet Tanager, RB Grosbeak, WE Vireo, RE Vireo, YT Vireo

Now we are off to find owls, whips, and chucks in Adams County!
