Today was the first opportunity I've had in a week to take a lunch-
time walk through Sheldon's Marsh. Many plants, including May apples,
are coming up. Some of the "new" species might have been here for
awhile. New birds included Eastern Phoebe, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker,
Great Egret, and Chipping Sparrow. The White-throated Sparrows and
Dark-eyed Juncos are still around. Carolina Wrens, Tufted Titmice,
cardinals, and robins are all singing "enthusiastically".
