Made a trip down to Columbus to see the Owlets in the cemetary and see the Osprey at Pickerington. The trip was not a disappointment. Owlets are lookin' great. Don't think they are too happy with all the sun beating in on them . Hot and hard on the eyes. Left the cemetary and went to Pickerington and that is one nice place . Wished it was closer to home here. Was greated by a Mockingbird right as I got out of the blazer. The Osprey was perched on it's nest platform and a Phoebe twitched it's tail from a perch in a tree. The herons across the pond were on the nests there. Was a great day . Some beautiful wild places there in Columbus. Russell Lima, Ohio
