Hi Everyone,

We went for a little walk with our friends Stu and Kathleen Greenberg
into Forest Hill Park, entering from the terrace entrance in East
Cleveland. We went there several times last year and had good luck
with woodpeckers--and that continued tonight. We had:

American Robins--lots
Northern Flickers--lots, and lots of calling
Downy Woodpeckers--heard, probably two
Red-headed Woodpecker—a pair, apparently courting
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker--at least one, possibly two
Red-tailed Hawk--two flyovers
Dark-eyed Junco--a couple of pairs
Field Sparrow--one
Blue Jays--several
Eastern Phoebe-one

Forest Hill Park is in Cleveland Heights and East Cleveland, in
Cuyahoga County.

Best wishes,

Steve Cagan
