Friday morning there was an osprey at the Oxbow area of North Chagrin across from Squire's Castle on River Rd, in a dogfight w a red-winged blackbird. In the same area were several cedar waxwings, baltimore orioles, a female wood duck with at least seven ducklings and a palm warbler (I think)...about 8 am. The previous evening up at Sanctuary Marsh (same park) was lucky to get some shots up close and personal of a red-winged bb feeding young in the nest directly behind the Nature Center.
