That tranquil and overgrown birding/walking venue along the north end of the
Hoover Reservoir, Weise Road, has been bulldozed to make way for the
extension of the Westerville bike path. Hopefully this won't make too much
difference to the birding. This morning I encountered amongst others my FOY
Indigo Buntings (5), an invading hoard of Cat birds, almost just as
numerous Baltimore Orioles, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Common Tern, Black &
White Warbler, and two Prothonatory Warblers, each claiming real-estate
either side of the open water section.
