On the way up to Magee this morning, Laura Alldridge and I stopped at Old
Woman Creek (Erie County, just east of Huron) in hopes of seeing the four
American White Pelicans previously reported on the list. We were not
disappointed. All were in the water down south of the Rt. 6 bridge.

While we were still there first one, and then the other three, together
slowly departed. They flew north over the bridge to the lake and headed
west. Great sight.

As we drove west on Rt. 2 up to Magee, we re-encountered them at the Thomas
Edison Bridge over Sandusky Bay. They were flying in formation and appeared
to circle at the west side of the bridge as we continued on Rt. 2.

Did not see them along Rt. 2 on the drive back this evening.

Regards,

Rita Schneider
Cuyahoga County
