The Harrison Co. reclaim lands never cease to amaze. While checking an
abandoned cabin west of the airport for Barn Owls yesterday, not only did
I find a Vulture nest but also several shorebirds in the old sediment
ponds.

Semipalmated Plover 3
Semipalmated Sandpiper 5
Lesser Yellow Legs 1
Solitary Sandpiper 1
Spotted Sandpiper 3
Killdeer 4
Not a bad list for this area.

Additionally, a red tail nest with 3 hatchlings. I ended a good day with
two Whip-poor-wills that have been hanging out near Deersville for 7 days.
The first I have heard since the mid 80's.
