Some absolutely atrocious conditions resulted in a small flurry of

Final tally was 12 species of shorebirds for the day.
Highlights from the sandbar include:

Killdeer - 7
Spotted Sandpiper - 6
Solitary Sandpiper - 2
Sanderling - 5
Ruddy Turnstone - 1
Dunlin - 1
Greater Yellowlegs - 1
Caspian Tern - 40+
Forster's/Common Tern - 20+
Am. Pipit - 5

Nearby Malek Park was also fairly productive, with 4 Snipe, 2 Lesser
Yellowlegs, 1 Pectoral Sandpiper,
1 Spotted Sandpiper and several Killdeer. Also seen here were Eastern
Bluebird, Eastern Kingbird, House Wren, Brown Thrasher,
and a flock of 27 White Crowned Sparrows.

Closer to home, the first RT Hummingbird showed up at the feeder on May 4.
