A brief (less than an hour) stop at this south Columbus park this morning found a flurry of migrants before the rain settled in.  This portion of the park is graced with a sizeable patch of riparian 'old growth' where 3 creeks converge, so it's one of the best targets for fallout migrants in south Columbus.  The prior morning I had visited several smaller riparian patches 'downstream' from here, and had far fewer migrants.  Highlights of the list this morning included

Least Flycatcher - 1 calling
Willow Flycatcher - 1 calling
Great Crested Flycatcher - 2 calling

Red-eyed Vireos - 6+ singing
House Wrens - 7+
Gnatcatchers - 5+
Swainson's Thrushes - 6+
Veery - 1
Wood Thrush - 4
Catbird - 7+
Mockingbird - 1
Yellow Warbler - 1 singing
Parula - 1 singing
Yellow-throated - 1 singing
Tennessee - 3-4 singing
Magnolia - 5+ calling & singing
Chesnut-sided - 5+ singing
Black-thr.Green - 3 singing
Black-thr.Blue - 1 singing
Blackburnian - 5+ singing
Bay-breasted - 1 singing
Yellow-rumped - 2-3 singing
Black&White - 2 singing
Redstart - 8+ singing
Ovenbirds - 5+ singing
