 Hi all,
Just got back from Cincinnati, where my girlfriend and I found the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher at the Kilby Rd conservation area. It is an adult female, and a beautiful bird! You can follow the previous directions to get there (see Ned Keller's post from last night), but it is about 1.5 miles north of Interstate 275 in western Hamilton county.

When we arrived at 6:45, a few birders told us that some others had recently seen the bird headed towards the railroad track near the lumber yard. So, we decided to walk the south from where it crosses the track instead of following the old dirt road as had been previously described. We were rewarded when we found the bird perched on a plastic marker stick right along the railroad track. I created this map in order to give everyone a better idea of where we found the bird (copy and paste into browser)

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&ll=39.205954,-84.778619&spn=0.018523,0.052314&t=h&z=15&msid=115470395427603930194.000486e911dd59f0912d5

Although I did not see the bird earlier in the day, I tried to approximate where it was seen then on the map as well (I have a feeling that the first lake has shrunk in size since the satellite photo was taken)

We met Jay Lehman at this point, and the bird flew out further from the railroad while we were there, in a southwestern direction before we lost it.
