Great day to get out. Sunshine! A hike around the public hunting grounds and the refuge produced
great birds today. Highlights were:

Scarlet Tanager ...... male and female
American Redstart
Prothonotary Warbler
Yellow-breasted Chat
Common Yellowthroat
Yellow Warbler
Bobolink
Red-headed Woodpecker
Baltimore Oriole
Eagles 2 immature
Barred Owl

In the bonus wildlife department I spooked an amazing River Otter. First time seeing one and was
surprised at how big it was. An awesome sight for sure.
