The Scissor-tailed Flycatcher was still present in western Hamilton
County this evening. Shane Egleston went down to see it arriving about
7:00 PM. We parked in the Kilby Conservation area owned by the Hamilton
County Park District. This is located just past the "lumber yard" and at
the top of a short rise in the road. The parking lot will be on the
right. There is a brown steel barn at the parking lot. We walked across
Kilby Road past the gate that has a stop sign on it. We saw people
coming up from the left and asked if they had seen the flycatcher. They
told us it was about 3/4 of a mile down the gravel road and behind the
lumber yard. It is a beautiful area.

We observed the bird from 7:15 PM to 8:00 PM.

You may need a Hamilton County Park sticker to park where we did.
