Jay Lehman called me about 30 minutes ago with the news that he was
at Pickerington Ponds Metro Park (Franklin/Fairfiled Co.) and was
observing the two Red-necked Phalaropes reported from there
yesterday. He parked at the ranger station (the old house) and walked
the trail out to Pintail Lake. From the platform he observed the
phalaropes across the lake. They were to the right of big red barn,
kind of swimming up a little channel. But, they could be anywhere on
the lake.

Good luck if you go to look for them.

Doreene Linzell
