I was at Villa Angela State Park today on the east side of Cleveland on Lakeshore Blvd at E. 174th St from 11am to 5pm.  Was at Wildwood accessed from the same park entrance for only a short time. It started to rain as soon as I arrived only for a few minutes.  Then by 1:40pm it rained with lightning for 20 mins then it cleared up and was beautiful.  It was very birdy in the Villa Angela area with only a select group of birds to be seen.  There were many Blackpoll Warblers, Redstarts and flycatchers.  Here are some of my highlights today:

Black-crowned Night-Herons 4 (1 adult, 3 juveniles) on rock piles in front of Villa Angela after the lightening storm
Eastern Wood Pewees - several
Least Flycatchers  8 - 9
Eastern Kingbirds 10+, Great Crested - 4
Warbling & Red-eyed Vireos - many
Blue Jays - 16
Barn Swallows - many
Veery 1
Swainson's Thrush 10-12
Wood Thrush 2 to 3
Cedar Waxwing 1

Warblers (12) Tennessee 2, Yellow - many, Magnolia 7-8 Black-throated Blue 2, Bay-breasted 2, Blackpoll 15-20, Black-and-white 2, American Redstarts 10-12, Ovenbirds 2, Common Yellowthroats 9-10, Wilson's 3, Canada 2
