Troy Shively asked me to post the first record of whimbrel for Logan
County, found this afternoon at Indian Lake SP beach. From now on, any
new bird Troy finds in Ohio will be a review species. These impressive
birds are uncharacteristically appearing this spring in many inland
spots, so be alert for them!
