Observed/heard some interesting birds today. For the 3rd day in a row, a
golden-winged or hybrid warbler has been singing in a brushy area off the
southeast corner of the parking lot at Geauga Park District's bike
trailhead, Mountain Run Station east of Chardon. A fellow birder and I both
tried unsuccessfully to get a look at this elusive bird at different times. 
Saw four common moorhens at the marsh on the corner of Auburn and Pekin Rds.
in Newbury Twp. I even got to hear one "sing"!
To top it off, heard 2 orioles and a scarlet tanager while on the bike trail.
Great to have the afternoon off...
