There is a Red-tailed hawk nest on the Miami Valley Golf Club course (Salem and Philadelphia). Two fledglings are doing some short flights around the nest area but returning to the pine tree with the nest. The parents are still feeding them, and they make an incredible racket when they know a parent is coming with food! The nest is fairly close to a tee box, but there have been no problems -- golfers tolerate hawks, hawks tolerate golfers.
