While taking some waste to the compost heap I saw a turkey hen stroll
into the tall weeds this morning. Later in the day while talking on the
phone, I saw another hen with 5 poults passing by the north side of our
house, casually picking bugs out of the weeds. Needless to say, it was a
turkey of a day - but in a good way :)
