While the last day of school is nice to finally reach, I will miss the
killdeers coming and going from the gravel-covered roof of our building.
At home on the south shore of Nesmith Lake, in addition to spotted
sandpiper antics and an epidendrum-loving hummingbird, a lone coot has
been lingering with no signs of having a mate. A blackpoll warbler was
still around singing this morning.

Peace,

Gregory Bennett

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God.

He was in the beginning with God.

All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came
into being that has come into being.

John 1:1-3
