I spent several hours hitting OBBA2 blocks around this far SE suburb of Columbus, as well as making a brief stop at Pickerington Ponds. The humid morning belied the fact that it's been a wet, cool season so far, and many birds are still singing and nesting because of it. Notable birds included:

Great Egrets - 2 persist at Pick Ponds, 1 almost certainly the bird reported there earlier by Gene Stauffer. Both were seen off the Wood Duck observation platform.

Waterfowl - plenty of expected Canada Geese, Mallards & Wood Ducks at Pick Ponds, mostly in Mallard marsh. I searched for other ducks, but with no success.

Raptors - surprisingly scarce, possibly because they're being extra wary with their fledgelings. Osprey were at both platforms in Pick Ponds, as Gene had also noted.

Pileated Woodpeckers - a pair was being defensive around a snag along Sycamore Creek east of Sycamore Creek Park, giving a rare possible breeding record for this area.

Flycatchers - E. Wood Pewees continue their banner year, with calling birds at every stop. In contrast, Acadian Flycatchers seem to be having an off-year, with birds largely concentrated in only a few larger woods.

Vireos - a Yellow-throated Vireo calling along the tiny riparian strip on the Meadowlark Trail at Pick Ponds was well out of its expected habitat.

Warblers - a stray Black-thr.Green warbler was singing in Pickerington North Woods, a spot were they've not summered recently. Yet another stray Black&White warbler was singing along Sycamore Creek east of Sycamore Creek Park, in the same vicinity as 2 singing Parula Warblers (which have nested here before). A Yellow-br. Chat continues to sing & call from a probable territory along the Meadowlark Trail in Pick Ponds; it's been there for 4 weeks now.

Grosbeaks - 2 singing Rose-br.Grosbeaks in the forest strip along the railroad tracks east of Sycamore Creek park were a welcome sight/sound.

Sparrows - nothing extraordinary, but singing Savannah Sparrows were in the fields east of Pickerington North High School.

Orioles - no Orchard Orioles noted, but several Baltimores leading around new fledgelings, both at Sycamore Creek and Pick Ponds.
