The Little Blue Heron was still present last night from about 8:00 pm until close to sunset at about 9:00 pm. It was in the tree line in the middle of the wide part of Blue Wing Pond. It was visible from the parking area and parts of the trail on the right just after entry from Bowen Road to the Wood Duck Picnic Area. I just missed Ben Warner, by about an hour. As also reported, I saw an adult Black-crowned Night heron as well as Great Egrets, Great Blue herons and two adult Ospreys in the trees.
