Forwarding this from Troy Shively:

To answer David's question, I was there on Saturday and there is no
shorebird habitat at all. No ponds are drawn down, and there are no big
flocks of terns or gulls yet anywhere. The lake is so polluted/full of
algae, you are not allowed to swim and advised not to boat in the area.
On another note though, the Euco doves are still at the Celina Grain
Elevator. I did not check Mercer WA, and that often has shorebirds and
strange ducks this time of year, so it could be worth a stop if you
really are looking for someplace to explore.

Hope that helps,

Troy
