Sunday, July 25 - 10:30 a.m. - noon

The extensive mudflats at the Main Englewood Metropark seem to have drawn
in the shorebirds.

Solitary sp - 18
Spotted sp - 7
Least sp - 2
Pectoral sp - 7
Semipalmated plover - 1
Lesser yellowlegs - 5
Short-billed dowitchers - 2
Killdeer - TMTC
Wood ducks - 20+
Great blue herons - 40+
Red-tailed hawk

A trip to the North Park would not be wasted time either.  Here's some
regulars:

Green-backed heron
Yellow warblers
Common yellowthroats
Indigo buntings
Song and field sparrows
Barn and tree swallows
Chimney swifts
Willow flycatchers
Eastern kingbirds
Red-winged blackbirds
Killdeer
Turkey vulture
