Woods Road west of Ansonia and Rossburg:  today
4 great blue Herons
9 Can. geese
19 woodducks
1 lesser yellowlegs
1 solitary sandpiper
2 spotted sand. one with spots
at least 3 least sandpipers
at least 10 other peeps probably semi-palmated sandpipers
at least 100 killdeer
23 Pectoral Sandpipers
1 dickcissel
and difficult to see, but judging by behavior a possible pipit.  (Is it too early?)

Elroy
50 killdeer including at least 2 juveniles
2 peeps
3 lesser yellowlegs
2 e. Kingbirds
