This AM four species of shorebirds were feeding on the Cowan Lake Spillway.

7 Pectoral Sandpipers
3  Least Sandpipers
3 Spotted Sandpipers
12+ Killdeer

Though this is little compared to places near the lake over the years some very rare birds have worked that spillway and they are fairly close for observation.
