Black Swamp Bird Observatory (BSBO) is pleased to announce their 17th
Annual Banquet and Weekend Celebration, September 17, 18, 19, in Port
Clinton, Ohio. This year's event features "the father of
butterfly-watching," Robert Michael Pyle and his brand new book, Mariposa
Road: the First Butterfly Big Year! We've joined forces with the Ohio
Lepidopterists Society to present a Blacklighting For Moths field program
on Friday evening and a Birds & Butterflies field trip to Resthaven
Wildlife Area on Sunday morning. And, to round out a nature-packed
weekend, Kenn Kaufman will be presenting a Shorebird ID Workshop on
Saturday morning.
Online and mail-in registration is now open through the BSBO website at the
link provided below. Last year's event filled up quickly, so please
register soon.
