With all the talk of Red Headed Woodpeckers I thought I would share mine with
you. I have a almost dead tree in my front yard where I have been watching them
all summer. I have seen as many as four at a time. Yesterday was my first time
seeing a juvenile one up in the tree with its mother. They often fly in to my
squirrel feeder (on a tree closer to my house) where they love to grab the
peanuts I put out. They have been so amazing for me to watch.
