How could I forget Grand lake St Mary's Bill . I have observed Osprey
there to the last few years all summer long. Had heard there is a nest but
have never been able to confirm it or find one. Might be in the Mercer
Refuge. I have caught them fishing in the fish Hatchery on the East side. I
believe there are more natural nests of Osprey than we know about . The
one at Lake La Su An was across the lake and you have to look really good to
see it . Until we seen the Osprey go in did we pick it up in the tree
line. I am waiting on a call to have permission to be able to check out a
possible nest near a large pond that sounds like Osprey to me. Was told
there was a pair of birds diving in the water and coming up with fish.
