        Blendon Woods Metro Park is located in the northeast corner of
Columbus off of I 270 & Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit. Today
Columbus Audubon members & Metro Park visitors joined us for a walk. I
would like thank everyone for helping find these birds. Below is a list
of some of the birds found.

                           Indigo Bunting-male

                           Great Blue Heron
                           Chimney Swift
 
 Lake Trail
              E bluebird-male
              Ruby-throated Hummingbird-male
              Red-eyed Vireo

              Hooded Warbler
 
Thoreau Lake
                  Belted Kingfisher-male, female
                  E Phoebe
                  Wood duck-female, female with young
                  Barn Swallows-2 adults, 5 young
                  E Kingbird
                  Green Heron
                  Spotted Sandpiper
 
 Sugarbush Rd
                    E Wood Peewee
                    Red-tailed Hawk-young
                    Carolina Wren
                    Wood Thrush
                    Hooded Warbler-3
                    Indigo Bunting-male
                    Great Blue Heron
                    E Phoebe

moth)- nectoring on W Bergamot & Purple Coneflower
