Julie Karlson and I were working on OBBAII this morning in block 66D3SE. We
stopped along Spencer Road just near Sabina Road when we heard a Blue
Grosbeak singing. Unfortunately we were too far away to see it but it sang
the whole time we were in the area. We could also hear it from Sabina Road.
While stopped on Spence Road we also heard a Bobolink singing and a Northern
Bobwhite calling. Both Savannah and Grasshopper Sparrows were also singing
and seen sitting on the fences or the power lines. Then we drove north on
Sabina Road and found a Dickcissel sitting on the power line just before we
got to Route 72.
