  Greetings and salutations!

On this start of fourth of July Weekend, I have at least two BB Cuckoos
calling to each other. I was able to spot one, as it flew over, this
morning.

I have had computer problems and house repair issues, so my plans for
staying out in the field, birding all week, have gone awry....oh well, I
guess a Black Billed is good enough for now.

We have also had chipping sparrows by the bucket load all around my
property.
I also heard a GH Owl this morning saying hello to the morning.

I still haven't figured out or spotted the mystery bird that wakes me up
from time to time...It doesn't sound like a YB Cuckoo, at least it
doesn't sound like any that is stored at the Macaulay Library.

Have a great weekend
And have a happy...and safe, ;-D Independence Day Weekend.
