I arrived at about 11:30am in the full mid-day sun and heat. No problem for
Sedge Wrens! They seem to love it! I had to go seek them out in the middle
of the field, being very careful as I walked toward some sedges/rushes and
Phragmites. At one point I had one singing to my left about 50 yards away
and another singing to my right about the same distance.

I took a lot of pictures of three different birds but discarded most of them
because of grass and stems in the way. Here are a few that made the grade
(yes, I did have to further-process them, just like lunch meat J)

I also heard a Grasshopper Sparrow and saw it briefly. By the time I got my
camera pointed in its direction it flew and "took to ground", never to be
seen again!
