I returned to Villa Angela State Park in Cleveland this morning. I was there from around 10:10 to 5:40pm (minus one hour talking to the local people). I had to really look hard to find any birds. Some people came and I felt bad that not as much was seen today. It was nice being out in the cool northerly winds. Saw less warblers, but some of the same seen yesterday from main woods southwest of bathhouse to fenceline of field/library at different times. Also northwest and southwest of grassy knoll area. Mourning Warbler first warbler I saw south of path leading into woods west of the grassy knoll west of bridge at 10:18. Never heard it call or seen again. Blue-winged Warbler popped up southwest of grassy knoll after 5:15pm. Black-crowned Night-Heron found by Patty Kellner and friend west side of Euclid Creek north of bridge hidden in trees. Caspian Tern found by Jim Heflich. Here are some of the birds seen:
Black-crowned Night-Heron 1 adult
Turkey Vultures - many
Spotted Sandpiper 1 (Euclid Beach area)
Caspian Tern 1 juvenile (Euclid Beach)
Eastern Wood-Pewees 2 (together on branch)
Red-eyed Vireo 1
Barn Swallows - many, Chimney Swifts
Tufted Titmouse 2, many BC Chickadees, W.B. Nuthatch 1
Wood Thrush 2 (looked like young ones maybe 3 near field entrance)
Cedar Waxwings 6
Warblers:
Blue-winged 1
Yellow 1
Chestnut-sided 1
Magnolia 5-6
American Redstart 2
MOURNING 1 m
Wilson's 2
Canada 3 or 4 (seemed to be all over)
