Maumee Bay State Park - There was a rumor that someone saw the Arctic
Tern sometime before 8:00 this morning (Thursday). I got there at 9:30
and had to leave at 11:30. In those two hours the tern was not seen by
anyone. There were about 20 watchers. Gulls and terns were in a large
group on the east end of the beach. Earlier a smaller group was on the
west end.

A birder who planned to stay all day if necessary said he would call me
if the bird was seen. It's now 2:10pm; I've received no call.
