I was able to locate one foraging group of warblers at Highbanks Metro Park
this evening along the Olentangy River near Big Meadows. They all appeared
to be juvenile birds and were moving with a flock of the local residents.
Warblers included 1 Chestnut-sided, 3 American Redstarts, 2 Magnolia and
single Black and white and Wilsons.

Throughout the park, the most numerous bird species was Cedar Waxwings
followed by Field Sparrows and Eastern Wood Pewees.

Directions to Highbanks are at www.metroparks.net and park information is on
the OOS web site.
