Steve Miller and I checked out Woods Road this evening.  We didn't see
Western sandpipers that we could tell, but there were 20+ pectoral
sandpipers and at least 2 semipalmated plovers.
Also:
purple martins,
kestrel, red tail hawk
redwings
starlings
robin
lots of blue herons 10+
2 mute swans 1 was a cygnet
1 black duck
7 mallards
3+ woodducks
12+ Can. geese
1 indigo bunting
2 barn swallows

Elroy-Ansonia road had 3 least sandpipers and a dozen or more killdeer.
