Startled by other reports of early migrant warblers, I spent an hour this morning around Woodside Green and Academy Parks, 2 decent migrant traps here in Gahanna. There was a decent push of landbird migrants early in the morning, mostly what you might expect this early, but with a few surprises. The obvious migrants (because they were in high numbers or don't breed anywhere near here) included

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 6-8
Warbling Vireo - 3+
Red-eyed Vireo - 5+
Yellow Warbler - 1
CHESNUT-SIDED WARBLER - 1
BLACKPOLL WARBLER - 1

Ready or not, landbird migration seems to have started in earnest
