Glad to hear that the Arctic Tern at Maumee Bay S.P. was still being seen
through evening. For anyone going to look for it tomorrow, and wanting to
prepare, there are some photos of this individual and notes on its
identification posted at http://bit.ly/bHh8nX

At various times today it was being seen at different points along the Lake
Erie beach in the park. Evidently it spent quite a bit of time out foraging
over the lake, but when it was seen on the beach it was always at least
loosely associated with other terns. So if you're searching, rather than
staking out one particular area of the beach and hoping it will appear, it
would be better to look for the flock of Common and Forster's terns and
check through them carefully.
