Caught this (see link below) up at Hoover Reservoir in the wee hours of the morning. Not a great picture with the low
light, slow shutter speed, high ISO and he caught me by surprise so I was not able to get good focus on him. I couldn't
find anything that matched up with the under belly and wing color pattern. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Other birds seen up at Hoover either around Pelican Island and the north end near the board walk:

Black Bellied Plovers (several)
Adult Bald Eagle (2)
Great Blue Herons (several)
Great Egrets (several)
Killdeer - hundreds (sure seemed like it)
Pectoral Sandpiper (2)
Solitary Sandpiper (3)
Forster's Tern (1)
Sanderling (2)

Thanks,

Bob
