Went on around the lake to the south . Back in Harmon's landing many cormorants,, 2 redheaded woodpecker's , 2 great egrets , geese. Continuing south around the lake, if you take a left after you leave Harmon's down the road bend south toward 219 on the left is a big puddle pond. There was a solitary sandpiper there. Taking 219 on around to Montezuma to Mercer wildlife area. Lot's of geese , redtail hawk. Headed on to 127 and back north into Celina on the right you can see a backwater area there, many more great egrets , didn't stop to count them but at least another dozen or more. Back in the West Bank state park there was an Osprey in the dead tree ont he end of the small island out there. Headed back to St mary's and another pass thru the hatchery before going home. found 2 caspian terns , 3 forster's terns and 2 common terns. Russell Lima, Ohio
