FINALLY made it over to see the teal that Jen discovered yesterday...Elsa 
Phillips and I viewed it on the western side of the impoundment, though it 
seemed to be moving around a bit.  It was in Blue and Green-winged Teal company 
for nice comparison.  Major kudos to the talented Ms. Brumfield!

Also fun was a Buff-breasted Sandpiper which came in to land nearly at our feet 
(with Helen Taft at that point).  This spiffy juv. was still present when we 
left.  Three Baird's were present, too.

Interesting, too, was the reported Horned Grebe.  We viewed this bird at close 
range and it appeared to be quite immature, retaining extensive streaking on the 
head and neck.  Seems a but far south to be seeing a bird in this plumage.
