Anyone got a recommendation for a digital camera that I can take "happy
snaps" of birds and wildlife without getting to complicated into it? I
want a quality camera and am willing to shell out some $$ but am not
planning on digiscoping or getting serious about it. Some sort of optical
zoom pretty much a requirement unless the market has progressed to having a
camera with a "normal" to 60 zoom or something (not interested in
butterflies or super close focus but say a standard picture of something 6
ft away in the house as double duty standard camera).
I have an older DMZ-F3C Lumix but thought I out to investigate upgrading
before my trip to Yellowstone vs. sometime down the road.

Thanks, hope not too off topic.

Marie, Fairborn
