Weekend highlights were Orange-crowned Warbler, LeConte's Sparrow, Red Phalarope, Pine Siskin, Hudsonian Godwit, and Red Knot.

Highlights at Wake Robin were Orange-crowned Warbler (1) near the beginning of the boardwalk and then flew into the trees on the west side, a VERY cooperative LeConte's Sparrow, a young bird of the year, nearly underfoot while we were standing on the boardwalk, many full frame photo opportunities. Sounds like the siskin invasion is underway.

The local RBA has reported numerous spots in the Wayne/Holmes county area
with siskins;

We have had two [first in 4 years], since 10/25/10 --- still hear today,
mainly feeding on the ground (not once on the thistle feeder with the hoards
[over 50] of goldfinches).

A single RBNH about 10 days ago hasn't been relocated.
