I stopped by several parks along this semi-wild section of the SciotoRiver in the Columbus suburb of Dublin. I stopped at Kiwanis Park, Donegal Cliffs Park, O'Shaughnessy dam, and Twin Lakes Park. The corridor here is decent for landbirds and waterbirds, but migration today seemd a bit slow. Water levels in the river were quite low, and Twin Lakes had a large mudflat that held a handful of Kildeer. Notables included:

Waterfowl - aside from the expected scattered mallards, the only notable waterfowl were a flock of 200+ Canada Geese at Kiwanis and 12+ cormorants at the dam.

Turkey Vultures - 55-60 were roosting on the dam and in the trees below it
Cooper's Hawks - had at least 4 in 2 hours, at nearly every stop
Osprey - a late one was fishing along the river at Donegal CLiffs
Red-shouldered Hawk - one was lurking in the riparian forest at Donegal Cliffs. These birds are rare around Columbus, but a few appear to winter along this stretch of the Scioto
Great Horned Owl - an adult was being harassed by a Cooper's at Frink park next to the dam

Pileated Woodpecker - 1 was in Frink Park at O'Shaughnessy dam, while another was heard at Twin Lakes
Wrens - 1 Winter Wren was scrabbling in the leaves at Donegal Cliffs, while a late House Wren was along the boardwalk at Kiwanis
Thrushes - only Robins, but they were in 20-50 bird feeding flocks at every stop
Warblers - only a few Yellow-rumps
Sparrows - little of interest, though there were Field Sparrows at 3/4 stops (which is rather unusual here since the habitat for them is scarce).
