Hi Guys,

I know that Nuthatches squirrel away food for the winter, but what other
species cache food? The reason I ask is I've been watching the birds at the
feeder and the Chickadees and the Titmice in particular seem to have an
expressway between the feeder and certain areas of the woods. I know they
have high metabolisms, and need to eat often, but it just seems they are
carrying away much more than they could possibly be consuming. This leads me
to believe that they are caching it somewhere. Is my hunch correct?

Cheers,

Brian
