Birds at Conneaut today, 8:00-11:30 AM and 2:30-6:15 PM included: gadwalls, n. pintails, green-winged teal, greater scaup, lesser scaup, surf scoter, bufflehead, red-breasted mergansers, common loons, pied-billed grebes, double-crested cormorants, great blue heron, black-crowned night-herons, turkey vultures, bald eagle, Am. coots, killdeer, semipalmated plovers, greater yellowlegs, lesser yellowlegs, Hudsonian godwit, sanderlings, a total of 323 dunlins, little gull in nearly full juvenal plumage, 190 Bonaparte's gulls, first-winter CALIFORNIA GULL, first-cycle lesser black-backed gull, great black-backed gulls, belted kingfisher, swamp sparrow, and 11 snow buntings.  There was a lot of movement in the afternoon.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
