I checked a couple other sites in Ashtabula County and also got cave
swallows at Ashtabula and Geneva.  The swallows seemed to prefer large open
grassy areas near the lake.  Here are the totals:

Conneaut Harbor
5 CAVE SWALLOWS (on the swimming beach) (found by Bob Krajeski)
1 CALIFORNIA GULL  (!st cycle)
2 Lesser black-backed gulls
1 Surf scoter
1 Peregrine falcon
60 Snow buntings

Lakeshore Park (Ashtabula)
2 CAVE SWALLOWS (near the shelter)
1 BRANT
4 Bald eagles
1 Peregrine falcon

Walnut Beach (Ashtabula)
6 Snow buntings

Geneva State Park
4 CAVE SWALLOWS (north of the marina)
1 barn swallow
6 COMMON REDPOLLS
21 Snow buntings

Arcola Creek
1 Great egret
